Full flavoured Sauvignon Blanc with strong capsicum, box hedge and gooseberry flavours. Mouthwatering acidity adds freshness and focus to this bold and quite complex Marlborough style.

  Fruit from SOHO’s ‘Yarrum’ site in the Brancott Valley, fermented to 13.5% alc. and 3.0 g/L rs. Very pale straw colour, with a clear edge, this has an elegantly presented nose with lifted aromas of English gooseberries, limes and capsicums, unfolding layers of fresh herb nuances. Dry with restrained and stylish flavours of gooseberries and passionfruit, subtle layers of stonefruits unfold. Fine, racy acidity and smooth, slippery textures provide cut and finesse, and carry a soft, lingering finish. Match this subtle, flowing wine with seafood, vegetables and salads over the next 2-3 years.
