Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is delicate, with aromas of apple, pear, lifted blossom and gentle spice. Medium-light bodied, aromas of apple and Nashi pear, intertwined with a touch of grapefruit, alongside blossom and gentle spice. This Pinot Gris has an elegant flow with silky-textured phenolics and fresh acidity, the fruit is crunchy with brightness, elevated by a subtle note of spice. A well-balanced and sleek Pinot Gris with bright fruit and charm. Match with dim sum and whitefish over the next 3+ years. Fermented to 13% alc.

Blossomy and fresh, this smells like a sunny spring day, with green pear and peach tucked beneath the floral perfume. Lovely rich concentration on the palate, soft and ripe, mirroring the fruit from the nose, but with a gentle polish and an energised, buzzing glide - finishing on warm spice and slightly off-dry. Softly spoken at first, then full of rockstar personality.

Pinot Gris from the deep south has always had an edge and it shines through in this plush, lush and weighty example of great Gris. Complex fruit aromas sit in harmony with a smooth silkiness on the mid palate and lingering flavours on the finish. If you’re a Pinot Gris fan, you’ll adore this new wine from Soho – and from one of the coolest areas of Central Otago (cool in climate, that is – and in style).
