review

It’s charming and delightfully expressed on the nose, showing sweet cherry, wild strawberry, floral, subtle spice, and toasted almond characters. It’s juicy and supple in the mouth, delivering fine texture and beautifully infused tannins. The wine offers lovely fruit purity with elegant complexity. At its best: now to 2028.

review

Bright and polished hues of purple and ruby lead to a bouquet of raspberry and plums, boysenberry and violets, clay and red apple skin. Fruity, dry and salivating as the wine touches the palate, flavours of fresh and tart red berry fruits, an abundance of fine tannins, slight touch of oak and a salivating acid line. Balanced and well made with best drinking from early 2026 through 2029+.

review

Pinot Noir is one of Marlborough’s best kept secrets and the new Soho Bobby puts forward a great example with its bright ruby colour, clean fresh dark cherry flavours, coupled with a light touch of spice and a smoky note on the finish. Soho Bobby is very good value for money and  a lovely drink as an aperitif style wine or will come into its own with beautiful mushroom risotto.
