A magnificent rendition, the enticing bouquet shows ripe stone fruit, melon, vanillin oak and oatmeal characters, leading to a concentrated palate that's succulent and seamlessly flowing. Richly textured with beautifully pitched acidity, finishing impressively long and sophisticated. At its best: 2025 to 2035.

This Waiheke Chardonnay has an elegant expression, a citrus core layering melon and toasty spice, and the zesty acid line draws a lengthy finish with a touch of salinity.

Distinctive, fresh and ripe, aromas and flavours of grapefruit and California peaches, lemon and barrel spices. There’s a texture layer from lees and warming alcohol adding complexity and breadth. Weighty with a satin-cream touch, plenty of acidity and core fruit flavours that reflect the bouquet. Delicious; ready to drink from 2025 through 2030+.

Soho Family Vineyard’s Carter Chardonnay is made with grapes grown on the family’s home block on Waiheke Island. This warm site offers soft, smooth and warm climate Chardonnay flavours of peach flesh and ripe lemons, held together in a beautifully balanced wine with a full body and long, citrusy finish.
