A blend of merlot 59% , malbec 25% and petit verdot 16% . Intense wine with ripe cherry/berry/ blackberry, chocolate/mocha, liquorice and spice flavours. Impressive wine that, like many great reds, clearly has ageing potential but can certainly be appreciated right now. Rippling with energy.

Sophisticated and gracefully expressed with dark plum, blackcurrant, violet, cedar and subtle tobacco nuances, it’s concentrated and refined on the palate displaying excellent weight and persistency. Wonderfully structured by fine chalky tannins, the wine exhibits great presence, line and length.

Full, deep ruby-red, even colour throughout. The nose is full and youthful with bright aromas of red berries, cassis and plums entwined with vanilla, clove, black tea quality oak fragrance, and earthy elements. Full-bodied, red berries, cassis and plums fill the palate, unfolding vanilla, clove, dark chocolate and black tea nuances. A touch of leather and earth added complexity. Vibrant acidity contributes to the vitality and focused finish. The mouthfeel is smooth with fine-structured tannin. This youthful Waiheke red blend with a red fruit core, enriched by new oak, spice details, chocolate and black tea fragrant, will benefit from cellaring. Match with red meat over the next 10 years.

This Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot blend showcases aromas of baked plum and dark berry flesh, moments of chocolate and anise, smoky wood and black currant with a new wood and earthy dry clay quality. Firm textures touch the palate first - tannins and acidity along with wood highlights set the foundation then
a concentrated core of dark berry fruit flavours, dark spices with aise nd clove then vanilla and violets. A new leather notes adds further complexity and depth. Great drinking from 2024 through 2034+.
