Raymond Chan Wine Reviews

review

Deep, ruby-purple with some transparency, slightly lighter on edge. The bouquet is elegantly-full, nuances of red cherries, raspberries, plums are very aromatic, interweave with floral fragrances, dark herbs, very appealing. Medium-bodied, aromas of plums, cherries intermixed with raspberries, subtly earthy, savoury notes; along with dark herbs and spices. Liquorice nuances unfold as it aerated. Silky tannin extraction provides a velvety mouthfeel. A complex range of flavours are well-proportioned, integrated harmoniously. Fine-grained oak added a slightly smoky element, lingers to a long, sustained finish. This is a harmonious Pinot Noir with well-proportioned fruit and savoury elements on a velvety tannin mouthfeel.

review

Wonderfully fruited and seductively complex, the bouquet shows dark plum, toasted spice, hazelnut and dark mushroom notes. It's concentrated and richly textured on the palate delivering multi-layered mouthfeel and polished tannins, leading to an impressively long gratifying finish. Gracefully delicious.

review

Young, very new and bolshy with aromas of freshly crushed cherry, a touch of peppery spice, vanilla oak and toasty wood moments. P=N, firm tannins, med+ acidity.
