Deep inky purple, lighter on the rim. This has an attractive bouquet with aromas of blueberry, blackberry, plum, violet and spice. Medium-full bodied, aromas of blueberry, blackberry and plum entwined with violet, dark herb, star anise and savoury notes to finish. The fruit is bright and fresh with lively acid support; subtle savoury elements linger with velvety tannins to a sustained, enticing finish. Match venison ragu and lamb roast over the next 8+ years. Fermented to 13% alc.

Great colour and intensity with aromas and flavours of roasted blackberries, spiced plums and black currants; clove and vanilla pod spices are trapped in a smoky wood layer, and a clay stone quality delivers a mineral and earth quality. Firm and dry as the wine touches the palate, tannins have a polished ripe quality and acidity delivers backbone. Well made with a lengthy finish.
