Raymond Chan Wine Reviews

review

Bright, pale yellow with depth, even colour throughout. The bouquet is voluminous, flinty on entry, aromas of guava, papaya, passionfruit melded with spice and green herb. Medium-bodied, bright on the palate, aromas of guava, papaya and passionfruit intermixed citrus, unfolding smoky spice and linger with green herb and tomato vine. Mouthwatering acidity flows with fine-textured phenolics enriched by flint, adding a savoury element. Crisp on the finish, with aromas of tropical fruit elevated by spice. This is a savoury Sauvignon Blanc shows tropical fruit and flinty complexity. Match with smoked pork ribs and cajun fish over the next 3 years.

review

It's brilliantly expressed on the nose showing green rockmelon, kaffir lime, jalapeno and white floral aromas. The concentrated palate displays excellent focus and vibrancy, wonderfully complemented by juicy fruit intensity and refreshing acidity, making it hugely appealing. At its best: now to 2025.
