review

Gorgeously styled and beautifully poised, the wine shows apricot, lemon peel, vanillin oak and oatmeal nuances on the nose, followed by an impressively weighted palate delivering richly textured mouthfeel backed by bright acidity. Splendidly complex, elegant and alluring. At its best: now to 2031.

Raymond Chan Wine Reviews

review

Bright, clear, even, pale yellow. The nose is soft and coy, slowly penetrating aromas of lemon sherbet, white peach melded with a hint of floral and delicate barrel element. Medium-bodied, elegantly presented, lemon sherbet, lemon peels and peach interweave floral, vanilla and fine spice. The mouthfeel is creamy and almost unctuous, presenting lanolin and fine-textured phenolics. The fruit is pure, clean, neat, and supported by crisp acidity and a good flow. This is an elegant and restrained Chardonnay with a citrus core, delicate oak details and a fine-textured mouthfeel. Match with blue cod and langoustine over the next 4-6 years.

review

Lovely bouquet of sweet grapefruit, peach and vanilla, some apple custard and light smoky wood qualities. Satin cream texture with a core of yellow stone fruit and baked apple flavours, vanilla and sweet oak, some fine stony mineral qualities, fine tannins and medium+ acidity. Delicious, fresh and smooth on the palate with a youthful lengthy finish. Best drinking from 2023 through 2027+.
